About allon health and wellness
Who We Are
Allon Health and Wellness is a personal training studio in Asheville, North Carolina. We focus on individual client needs, empowering people through increasing strength, cardiovascular health and mobility. We offer personal training, small group training outdoors, online virtual sessions as well as massage therapy.
What does Allon mean?
Allon is a Hebrew word meaning oak and strong. Nadja wanted a name that represented not only what we do here but also something that spoke to the area of North Carolina where we are located. The beautiful mountains and trees of Asheville inspire us not only in the visual landscape but in the desire to be active. Whether its hiking or biking the many trails, playing on the many rivers and lakes, or walking the downtown area with its shops and restaurants, we seek to keep you moving and feeling your best.

Nadja Simon, Certified Personal Trainer and Owner
BFA, School For American Crafts at Rochester Institute of Technology. MFA, from University of Illinois, Champaign- Urbana.
Associates of Arts and Sciences from Asheville – Buncombe Technical College in Asheville, North Carolina.
A.C.E. Certified Personal Trainer, CSCS – Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, Pilates Mat 1 Certified, TRX Level 1 Certificate, NETA Healthy Aging Specialist, NETA Yoga Foundations and competitive power lifter.
Originally from Philadelphia Nadja spent a good bit of her adult life as an artist/craftsperson working in metal and glass.
Mid-life she chose to go back to school for Health and Fitness Science and hasn’t looked back. She has loved being a full time personal trainer and group exercise instructor for the past 6 years.
Ann Boss Maycock
ACE Certified Personal Trainer I grew up with 3 brothers and one sister -- all close in age. For as long as I can remember, we were outside running around, playing games and having fun. When I was older, I actively participated in organized sports. As I age, I’ve continued to find new pursuits to stay active. Camping, hiking, and walking in the woods with friends and family are my passion these days. But being outside is still my happy place.
My career has mostly been in various aspects of technology -- programming, project management and training. A recent opportunity to make a change to something more active led me to pursue a future in health and fitness coaching. I want to help others experience the satisfaction and happiness that comes from staying strong and healthy so we can continue being able to do the things we love and enjoy.
Aylin Collier, Yoga Instructor
Aylin is a long-time practitioner and instructor of yoga and movement. She has trained in a wealth of yoga styles and modalities and has been teaching for 20 years. As her learning process continues, her understanding of the practice constantly evolves. She is currently interested in more evidence-based approaches to yoga. As such, she brings her understanding of biomechanics, pain-science, strength and mobility training into her classes.
Aylin's current style of teaching is a fusion of yoga poses, mobility and strength-based sequences as well as breathing and relaxation exercises. While she retains many elements of a traditional yoga class, she blends in mindful movements, balance, coordination and strength drills into the practice. Since our bodies are unique, she believes the practice needs to be customized to meet the practitioner’s needs rather than imposing a one-size-fits-all alignment approach.

Natasha Outlaw, Massage Therapist
Natasha Outlaw has been a licensed therapist since 2014 and runs her business Lotus Ridge Wellness out of Allon Health and Wellness in Asheville Nc. She is certified in medicupping, Rockblade certified in IASTM-Instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, Level 2 Reiki, yoga and she graduated from CFMNH here in Asheville.
Lotus Ridge Wellness has a variety of massage modalities to help with the stresses of everyday life and promotes R&R. Specializing in neuromuscular therapeutic massage and work with physical therapy clients, as well as CPT clients throughout Buncombe, Madison, and surrounding counties. We help clients reach a better quality of healing and mobility.
